Suno alternatives: AI music generators without monthly download caps

Suno now counts downloads: 20 a month on Pro, 60 on Premier. Five alternatives compared on downloads, vocals, your own voice and licences.

Replacing Suno · Free provides 50 credits per day. The annual-billing view lists Pro at US$8/month and Premier at US$24/month; their monthly credit allowances are 2,500 and 10,000 respectively.

Suno still turns a description or your lyrics into a full song with vocals, but downloads are now counted. Pro includes 20 song downloads a month and Premier 60, unused downloads do not roll over, and the limits also apply to songs made before they took effect. The free plan has up to 7 lifetime trial downloads for personal, non-commercial use.

If the files matter more than the generator, the alternatives below each replace a different part of Suno: songs rendered on your own computer, instrumentals with unlimited downloads, background music for videos, generation from your own material, or songs sung in your own trained voice. The comparisons come from each vendor's official pages and help articles, checked on the dates shown, not from running the same prompts through every tool.

Why people look for an alternative

  • You make more songs than you can download. Pro includes 20 and Premier 60 song downloads a month, unused downloads do not roll over, and extra downloads cost more.
  • You want to keep using the free plan. It has up to 7 lifetime trial downloads, for personal, non-commercial use only, and no commercial rights.
  • You buy credits in bursts. Included credits do not roll over, and purchased top-up credits can only be used with an active subscription.

5 alternatives worth considering

Best for songs with vocals and no download limit

YuE2 Studio

Free Windows desktop studio that runs the open YuE2 song model on your GPU: full songs with vocals and an editable score, covers, MIDI and LoRA training.

Pricing
YuE2 Studio is free and open source, and the model files download free from inside the app. There are no paid plans and no account. The app and its yue2.cpp engine are MIT-licensed. The YuE2 model weights are CC BY-NC 4.0: individual creators may sell and monetise the songs they make, but companies need a license from the model authors. Optional cloud features (such as OpenRouter for the writing assistant or cover art) use your own key.
Available on
Windows 10 and 11 (x64) only, as an installer or a portable archive. It needs a GPU with at least 6 GB of VRAM: NVIDIA cards (GTX 900 or newer) run on CUDA; AMD and Intel cards run on Vulkan as an experimental option. The page lists no macOS, Linux, web or mobile version.

YuE2 Studio is a free, open-source desktop app for the open YuE2 song model. You give it a style and lyrics and it renders a full song with vocals on your own GPU, together with the sheet-music score the song was sung from. It can also make covers from a transcribed melody, convert tracks to MIDI and train a LoRA on one style.

It needs Windows 10 or 11 and a GPU with at least 6 GB of VRAM. The model weights are CC BY-NC 4.0: individual creators may sell and monetise their songs, but companies need a licence from the model authors. It is an independent project, not made by the YuE2 model authors.

Choose it if
Windows users with a capable graphics card who want full songs with vocals saved to their own disk, with no plan, account or download count.
Look elsewhere if
You use a Mac or a laptop without a dedicated GPU, or you are a company that needs commercial rights.

SOUNDRAW

AI music generator for royalty-free tracks, with bar-level editing, genre blending and stem downloads.

Category
Music & Audio

SOUNDRAW builds royalty-free tracks from genre and mood choices, with a browser mixer that toggles instruments, adjusts intensity and sets length. It says its model is trained only on music its own producers create.

The Creator plan includes unlimited MP3 downloads, and the Artist tiers add song distribution with 10, 20 or unlimited downloads a month and let you keep 100% of streaming royalties. Tracks made while subscribed stay licensed after you cancel. WAV and stems start at Artist Pro, and our profile does not establish a free plan.

Choose it if
Creators who mostly use Suno for instrumental beds or beats and need unlimited downloads or the right to release tracks on streaming services.
Look elsewhere if
You want vocals, or WAV and stems on the cheapest plans.

Category
Music & Audio

Mubert Render generates a soundtrack from a text prompt, an image, or mood, genre and BPM settings, as a full track, a jingle up to 40 seconds, a seamless loop or a long mix. Quick Remix regenerates the drums, bass, lead or FX of a track while keeping the rest, and downloads come with a licence certificate.

Paid plans allow 500 tracks a month up to 25 minutes, with lossless downloads and no monthly download cap; Creator at $14 a month is non-commercial, and commercial use starts at Pro at $39. The free plan allows 5 downloads a month and requires crediting Mubert. Tracks cannot be sold, put on streaming services or registered in Content ID.

Choose it if
Video makers and podcasters who need many soundtracks of a set length, including long DJ-style mixes, with a licence certificate for copyright claims.

You want songs with vocals, or you plan to release tracks on streaming services.

Every plan includes the web app and a plugin for DAWs such as Ableton, Logic and Pro Tools, from Solo at $12 a month for 660 credits. Credits reset monthly, stem export is marked experimental, and our profile does not establish a free plan.

Choose it if
Producers who used Suno's upload and remix tools to start from their own audio, and want variations and section edits inside a DAW.
Look elsewhere if
You want songs with vocals, or a free plan.
05

AI voice song generator for making covers in other voices, training a clone of your own voice, and generating music from text prompts.

Pricing
Musicfy has three paid plans with monthly and yearly billing. At regular annual list prices, Starter is $190 a year, Professional $590 a year and Studio $1,200 a year. The plans differ in custom voice slots (2, 6 or 30), monthly song limits and upload size, and only Professional and Studio include a commercial license. The pricing page shows no free plan. The API is billed separately at $0.07 per minute of generated audio.
Available on
Musicfy runs in the web browser, and developers can use a public HTTPS API that returns JSON. The checked pages do not mention desktop or mobile apps.
Category
Music & Audio

Musicfy converts a vocal into another voice, offers a library of royalty-free artist voices, and trains an AI model of your own voice from your uploads. It also turns a written prompt into a song or instrumental and converts a vocal recording into an instrument sound.

There is no free plan on the pricing page. Starter is $190 a year with 150 songs a month, and the commercial licence starts at Professional, $590 a year. Every plan caps songs per month. Suno can also sing in your recorded voice on eligible paid plans, so Musicfy matters most if voice conversion and covers are your main work.

Choose it if
Singers and songwriters who want to train a model of their own voice, turn sung demos into other voices, or make covers.
Look elsewhere if
You want a free plan, or commercial rights on the cheapest plan.

Questions people ask

How many songs can I download from Suno?

Pro includes 20 song downloads a month and Premier 60. Unused downloads do not roll over, extra downloads can be bought, and the limits also apply to songs made before they took effect. The free plan has up to 7 lifetime trial downloads for personal, non-commercial use. Suno Studio workflows on Premier are not subject to the limits.

Is Udio an alternative to Suno?

Not if you need the files. Udio has disabled downloading of audio, video and stems since its October 29, 2025 partnership with Universal Music Group, so songs can only be shared as udio.com links. See our Udio alternatives guide for the details.

Is there a free Suno alternative with downloads?

YuE2 Studio is free and open source and saves songs with vocals to your own disk, but it needs Windows and a GPU with at least 6 GB of VRAM. Mubert's free plan allows 5 downloads a month for personal, non-commercial use, with credit to Mubert.

Which alternative lets me release songs on streaming services?

SOUNDRAW's Artist plans include song distribution and let you keep 100% of streaming royalties. Mubert does not allow tracks on streaming services. For other tools, read the plan's licence terms before distributing a track.
