What it does

Dottr is an AI contract assistant that works from your email. CC or forward a deal thread and it drafts the contract from your templates, reviews the terms and flags risks in plain English, sends it for e-signature and keeps reminding signers until everyone has signed. It also stores signed contracts, tracks renewal dates and answers questions about what you agreed.

Features

  • Drafts contracts from the email thread. Forward a thread, a call or notes. Dottr takes out what you agreed and writes the contract in your company's language. Official source 1 ↗
  • Reuses your own templates. Save a contract you like and later drafts start from it, with your approved clauses. Official source 1 ↗
  • Plain-English risk review with tracked redlines. Each risk is flagged on its clause with a suggested fix, on your paper or the other side's. Resolving a flag adds it to the contract as a tracked edit. Official source 1 ↗
  • Company playbooks. You can create as many review playbooks as you like, and Dottr applies the right one to each contract. Official source 1 ↗
  • Multi-round redlining and version compare. Every version in a negotiation comes back as a tracked Word document with a changelog. You can compare drafts to see exactly what changed. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • E-signature with automatic follow-ups. Dottr sends the contract for signature, tracks opens and keeps reminding signers until they sign. Signers do not need an account. You get an audit trail and a certificate of completion. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Ask questions across your contracts. Ask plain questions across every contract, such as payment terms, contracts that auto-renew or clauses with uncapped liability. Official source 1 ↗
  • Renewal reminders. Dottr tracks when each contract renews or expires and warns you before the notice window closes. Official source 1 ↗
  • Approval workflows. Set up an approval chain once, for example CEO approval or a copy to finance, and Dottr takes every contract through it. Official source 1 ↗
  • In-place team comments. Legal and finance comment directly on clauses, so feedback stays out of separate email chains. Official source 1 ↗
