Web: Ideogram's site offers Create a vector (text to vector) and Vectorize an image (image to vector). · Ideogram API: POST /v2/svg/generate/ideogram-vector-1 for text to vector and POST /v2/svg/vectorize/ideogram-vector-1 for image to vector. What it does

Ideogram Vector is Ideogram's first vector model. It produces SVG files rather than pixel images, either from a text prompt or by converting an existing image, so logos, print designs and illustrations stay sharp at any size and can be recoloured and edited shape by shape in a vector editor. You can use it in Ideogram on the web or call it through the Ideogram API, where the model is named ideogram-vector-1.

Features

  • Text to vector. Describe a design and get an editable SVG back. Image references are optional, prompts can run from 1 to 9,500 characters, and one API request can return up to 8 SVGs. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Image to vector. Upload existing artwork and convert it to an SVG without writing a prompt. The API accepts JPEG, PNG or WEBP files up to 50 MB and has a simple mode (fewer shapes), a detailed mode (keeps fine detail) and an auto mode. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Sharp at every size. Because the output is a vector, the same artwork can go from a small label to a large poster without losing edge quality. Official source 1 ↗
  • Recolour and edit individual shapes. You can change the SVG's colours to match a brand or collection, and select, resize or adjust single elements in your own vector editor. Official source 1 ↗
  • Three quality levels. Text to vector runs at low, medium (the default) or high quality, and the price per SVG rises with the level. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Free price quotes and webhooks in the API. A dry run validates and prices a request without generating or billing anything, and a webhook URL can receive the finished result instead of polling. Official source 1 ↗
