What it does
TTS Studio AI (TTSStudio.ai) is a web-based AI text-to-speech generator. You pick a language and voice, adjust emotion, speed, pitch and volume, paste text, then preview and download the audio as MP3 or WAV, optionally with SRT captions. The site also lists a ChatGPT app for generating speech inside ChatGPT. Its Terms of Use say the text-to-speech feature runs on the third-party Speechify API.

- Operator not disclosed. None of the checked pages names the company behind the service. The Terms mention only courts in Anguilla, and the privacy policy's mailing address reads only "TTS Studio AI, Privacy Office". The footer links to sister sites (a transcription tool, an AI-text humanizer and an authenticator app) that share the same template. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗ · Official source 3 ↗
- Countdown timer on the pricing page. The pricing cards carry a countdown timer beside the yearly "Save 50%" toggle, but the subscription terms list the same annual prices as the standard rates, so the timer does not mark a time-limited discount. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
- Speech generated through the Speechify API. The Terms state that the text-to-speech feature is provided through Speechify's API, so using the service also binds you to Speechify's terms. Official source 1 ↗
- Commercial-use statements conflict. The FAQ says generated voices can be used for ads, audiobooks, courses and podcasts, while the Terms prohibit reproducing, distributing or selling outputs without authorization. Check the licence before commercial use. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
- Inconsistent product figures across pages. Pages give different numbers: 30+ languages on the homepage and Terms but 100+ in the subscription terms; 1,500+ voices on the homepage but 1400+ on the pricing page; a 5,000-character input limit on the homepage while the editor counter shows 10,000. - Storage statements conflict. The FAQ says text and audio are never stored, but the privacy policy says uploads are stored temporarily, can be kept in your account, and generated audio may appear in your history. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
