What it does

Pulsetic, made by Designmodo, is a website uptime monitoring service. It checks sites, APIs, SSL certificates, ports, domains and cron jobs from up to 15 regions, confirms a failure from other regions before alerting, and publishes status pages on your own domain. Newer additions include AI browser monitors, dependency monitoring for third-party services, real user monitoring and an AI assistant.

Features

  • Multi-region confirmed checks. Failed checks are re-checked from other regions before an alert fires, and uptime and response time are shown per region. Checks cover HTTP, SSL, ping, ports, TCP, keywords, APIs, IPv4/IPv6 hosts, cron heartbeats and domain expiry. Official source 1 ↗
  • AI browser monitors. You describe a flow such as checkout or login in plain English, and an AI agent clicks through it in a real browser on a schedule. Official source 1 ↗
  • AI assistant. The AI assistant answers questions about what is down and why, and can create monitors, pause them for a deploy or open an incident after you confirm. Pulsetic also offers an API and MCP server. Official source 1 ↗
  • Alerts by phone call, SMS and chat. Alerts go out by email, SMS, WhatsApp and phone call, and to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Telegram, webhooks and Zapier. Phone calls come from one fixed number so it can ring through Do Not Disturb. Official source 1 ↗
  • Status pages on your domain. Status pages can run on your own domain with your branding, be public or protected by password or SSO, notify subscribers by email as incidents change, and display in one of 50 languages. Official source 1 ↗
  • Real user and dependency monitoring. A script measures Core Web Vitals and load timings for real visitors and logs JavaScript errors and failed requests without cookies. Dependency monitoring emails you when one of more than 4,300 third-party services, such as Stripe or GitHub, has an incident. Official source 1 ↗
  • Cloudflare allowlisting. After you connect Cloudflare, Pulsetic adds and maintains firewall allow rules for its IPv4 and IPv6 monitoring addresses so WAF or bot rules do not trigger false downtime alerts. Official source 1 ↗

Best for & limitations

Run a scheduled AI check that walks through a login or checkout flow in a real browser to catch broken user journeys that a simple uptime check would miss. Official source 1 ↗
