Herdr is a free, open-source desktop app for running AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex side by side. Agents run in real terminals hosted by herdr-core, a small server on your machine, so they keep working when the window is closed or the app updates. A sidebar shows which agent is working, done or waiting on you; agents can start helper agents and get their reports back; and remote machines join over SSH. The app's layout, tabs, keys and themes are plain files your own agent can rewrite on request, and the community gallery lists hundreds of shared layouts and mods.
