FAQ
What is Grok Bot?
An AI teammate from SpaceXAI (formerly xAI). Each bot has its own cloud computer with a browser, filesystem and terminal, signs into your tools, and works on multi-step tasks around the clock. You can run several bots that message each other and share context.
How much does Grok Bot cost?
It's included with SuperGrok ($30 a month), SuperGrok Plus ($100 a month), SuperGrok Heavy, X Premium+ and paid Cursor plans (Cursor Pro starts at $20 a month). Grok Bot has its own usage allowance that resets weekly; on Cursor, extra usage can continue as on-demand usage if you turn it on.
Is Grok Bot available on my phone?
Yes. Grok Bot runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, and on iPhone, iPad and Android. The bots' computers themselves run in Cursor's cloud.
What does Grok Bot ask before doing?
It asks for approval before sending messages or invitations, publishing, purchases and money transfers, deleting or overwriting data, changing permissions, production changes and accepting legal terms. Running on your own computer is set to ask every time by default.
Does deleting a bot delete its data?
Not all of it. Deleting a bot doesn't remove files or browser sessions on the shared computer. Sign out of websites, revoke connectors and remove sensitive files from /workspace as well.
