What it does

Buda is a cloud-native AI agent workspace where you run a team of agents like a small company. You set direction and review results, an Organizer coordinates the work, and agents called Claws execute tasks in parallel, each in its own isolated cloud computer with files, a browser, a terminal, Git, a persistent Drive and memory. Nothing is installed locally. Buda positions itself as a cloud, team-oriented alternative to local multi-agent tools such as OpenClaw, and also offers an API for embedding hosted agents in other products.

Features

  • Organizer-led agent teams. You hand off goals in plain language; the Organizer coordinates the right agents, keeps tasks moving and surfaces anything that needs your decision, while agents pause and ask when only you can decide. Official source 1 ↗
  • A cloud computer per agent. Each agent runs in an isolated, long-running sandbox with files, a browser, a terminal and Git, and you can watch every step live. Work continues in the cloud after you close the tab. Official source 1 ↗
  • Agent and Space Drives. Each agent has a private SSD drive for active work, while a shared Space Drive holds knowledge bases and final outputs that all agents in the workspace can use. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Skills and scheduled automations. Repeatable procedures can be saved as Skills and run on demand or on a schedule; automation limits and minimum intervals depend on the plan. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Built-in tools and model choice. Agents can build and deploy websites, generate images and video, run a terminal and drive an AI browser. Every plan can use the same set of models from Claude, GPT, Gemini and DeepSeek, each billed at a different credit rate. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Marketplace. Ready-made agents, skills and workflows can be installed and adapted to your workspace; templates have their own free or paid pricing. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • API Claws for developers. The REST API gives apps and hardware a hosted agent with sessions, a Drive-based knowledge base and tenant isolation. Agents sleep when idle and wake on demand, and usage is billed from the same Space credits. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗

Billing details

Credits come from three pools used in order: daily credits that reset at UTC midnight, monthly plan credits that reset each billing cycle, and purchased balance credits that do not expire. Official source 1 ↗

Monthly credits from every purchased agent go into one shared Space pool, and each agent includes one human member seat. Official source 1 ↗

Credit top-ups from $5 to $200 can be bought at any time and never expire; each message costs credits according to the model used, with a 1-credit minimum. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗

A managed deployment service, in which Buda deploys two production agents for your business, starts at $2,000 per month. Official source 1 ↗

Free access & limits

Free Spaces get 2 agents and 300 credits a day, with no browser, terminal or Git for agents and at most 5 automations at a 2-hour minimum interval without cron. When credits run out, AI features pause until they reset or you top up. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗

Best for & limitations

A founder or small team handing research, outreach drafts and launch planning to a group of agents and reviewing the output. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗

Running department work such as sales outreach, support answers from manuals, coding with tests and PRs, or content production as standing agent roles. Official source 1 ↗

A software or hardware company embedding a hosted, per-user agent with memory and a private knowledge base through the API instead of building agent infrastructure. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗

  • Free agents lack core tools. On the Free plan agents only get chat and Drive; the browser, terminal and Git that power most agent work require Plus or above. Official source 1 ↗
  • Usage is credit-metered. All AI work draws on credits, larger models cost several times more per message, and work stops when every credit pool is exhausted. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Plan details differ between pages. The pricing page and the billing docs list different storage figures for some tiers (for example 1 GB versus 500 MB agent disk on Free, and 100 GB versus 200 GB Space Drive on Pro); the pricing page figures are used here. Official source 1 ↗ · Official source 2 ↗
  • Experimental features may change. Labs toggles such as agent email, the terminal panel and OpenClaw remote control are experimental and may be reworked or removed. Official source 1 ↗
