Yubi is a dictation app for macOS 26 made by International Design LLC in Tokyo. You hold a key, speak and let go, and the words are typed into the app in front of you; transcription finishes on the Mac.

Features

Push-to-talk dictation. Hold the right Option key, talk and let go; the words are typed where the cursor is. Official source 1 ↗
On-device transcription. Dictation is transcribed on the Mac by Apple's speech framework, or by whisper.cpp if the user installed it, and no audio is uploaded. Official source 1 ↗
